Noticely — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 26 October 2026
Noticely reads the receipts, warranties, bills, medicine boxes, shipping screens and appointment messages in your photo library and turns them into things Siri can answer. All of that reading happens on your iPhone. We have no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no server of ours. Your photos and the records made from them never leave your device unless you choose to share them.

What the app reads
With your permission, Noticely looks at photos in your library and decides on your device whether a photo looks like a document. Only the kinds you switch on are processed: receipts and invoices, screenshots, documents and contracts, medicine boxes. PDFs can be shared to the app or picked from Files; the first pages are read the same way. Family and holiday photos are never read, and there is no face recognition of any kind. A photo that does not look like a document is skipped without being analysed further.
You can also hand the app a single image through the iOS share sheet or take a photo with the in-app camera. Photos taken in the app are not saved to your library.
What the app stores
For each document the app keeps a small record on your device: the type (receipt, warranty, payment, shipment, appointment, medication, document), a title, the store or sender, dates, an amount, a reference number and a few type-specific fields such as dosage or tracking status. It also remembers which photos it has already looked at so it does not read them twice. Photos themselves are never copied into the app. Everything is stored in the app's own private container on your device and is deleted when you delete the app or tap Delete everything in Settings.
Secrets are not stored. Card numbers, IBANs, passwords and ID numbers are deliberately left out of every record.
Location
Noticely never asks for your location. If a photo already carries a location (most camera photos do), the app uses it to label a record with the neighbourhood, for example "Kadıköy, İstanbul". To turn coordinates into that name, iOS sends them to Apple's geocoding service; Apple returns the place name and does not share the request with us. Only the short name is kept in the record. Screenshots, shared files and photos without a location are not affected.
Siri and Spotlight
Records you approve are written to the on-device Spotlight index so that Siri and Spotlight can answer questions about them. This index is part of iOS and stays on your device. Siri answers never include secrets, and we never show a purchase offer through Siri.
Permissions
- Photos — to read documents in your library. Limited access works.
- Notifications — for reminders you set up by approving a record: warranty end, due date, medication expiry, appointment, delivery day.
- Calendar — only when you tap Add to calendar, to match appointments with events you already have, and to warn you when an appointment overlaps another event.
- Reminders — only when you tap Add to Reminders. The app writes the reminder and reads nothing else.
- Contacts — only if you allow it in Settings, to match a store or person on a document with a contact. Contacts are read, never written, and never leave the device.
- Camera — only when you tap Snap.
Every permission is asked for in context, when you first use the feature, and the app works without any of them except Photos.
Apple Intelligence
Document reading uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models, part of Apple Intelligence. The model runs on your iPhone; nothing is sent to us. A future version may offer a weekly summary written through Apple's Private Cloud Compute. If that happens, this policy will say so before the feature ships; Apple's Private Cloud Compute does not store your data and does not make it available to us.
Purchases
Noticely Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple processes the payment and holds your payment details; we only receive an anonymous confirmation that an entitlement is active. Restore purchases works through your Apple Account.
What it does not do
- No account, sign-in or e-mail collection.
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. Diagnostics reach us only if you opt in to sharing with developers in iOS Settings, through Apple.
- No advertising, no tracking, no data brokers, no selling of data.
- No reading of messages, mail, notes, browser history or other apps' notifications.
- No network connection of its own: the app makes no requests to any server we operate. The only network use is iOS's own place-name lookup described under Location.
Required-reason APIs
The app's privacy manifest declares one required-reason API: user defaults, used to store the app's own settings on the device (reason CA92.1). The App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
Children
Noticely is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears at this address with a new effective date. Material changes are noted in the app's release notes.
