Frequently asked

How do I play?

With one finger:

Forgot one mid-run? Pause the game: how to play is listed there.

Do I need Game Center?

No. When the game opens, iOS may show Apple’s Game Center sign-in — you can close it and play everything: every mode, every goal, every colour, fully offline. If you are signed in, your height in metres goes to two leaderboards, an all-time one and a daily one, and Settings → leaderboard opens them. That height is the only thing the game sends. See the privacy policy.

How do I erase my save?

Settings → erase save, then tap it a second time to confirm — the first tap only asks, so a stray touch can’t wipe anything. It resets everything on this device: heights, goals, unlocked colours and settings. Scores already on Game Center are held by Apple and are not affected.

I lost my progress.

Progress lives in a single file inside the app’s private storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes it, and there is no cloud save — your progress is never stored on a server, by design. Game Center keeps your leaderboard score, but that is a single number, not your save. A device backup that includes app data will restore it.

Can I play on another device?

Yes, but progress does not move with you: it stays in the file on the device where you played. Ittako runs on iPhone and iPad.

I reached the bed, but the game keeps going.

That is the point. The bed throws you back up and the climb goes on — the Dream Sea, the Moon City, the Dawn Garden, and round again, for as long as you can keep climbing. Once you have reached the bed, the Star Floor lets you start a run from the bed.

A section feels impossible.

Every chunk and every seam is machine-verified as passable, across 2,500 generated levels. If one still feels impossible, tell us the height in metres — that number is enough for us to find the exact piece.

Can I make the game easier?

Yes, and nothing is locked behind it. Settings has:

Dream mode is there too: no falling, no counter, no record.

Are there ads or in-app purchases?

No. Ittako is a one-time purchase. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscription, no account to make, no tracking. It works in airplane mode; Game Center is the only optional extra.

Is it safe for kids?

Yes. Rated 4+. No chat, no user content, no advertising, and no way to spend money inside the game. Game Center is optional and follows Apple’s own parental controls.
